Steve Eidelman, former Executive Director of The Arc of the United States recently visited Stanly County to facilitate a strategic planning session for board members of The Arc of Stanly County, Inc. Steve, who lives in Delaware graciously gave of his time to travel to Albemarle. The meeting was held at Stanly Regional Medical Center who graciously donated their conference space. The planning meeting was valuable in identifying current and long term issues of the agency. With Steve’s experience and guidance along with the determination of the Board, it was an extremely productive day. The Arc of Stanly Board members in attendance were Jack Bauer-President; Larry Hinson-Vice President; Jeff Plyler-Secretary; Gloria Bowers, Sam Davis, Kevin Garrison, Mary Medlin, Rachel Morrison, Kathy Odell and Rosa Rush.
